How do I create a bid package from my BOQ?

Select individual BOQ positions to package into a bid — subcontractors see quantities, never your rates.

A bid package is a selection of individual line items from your project's BOQ — not the whole document, and not whole sections as a block. You choose exactly which positions a subcontractor should price.

  1. Open the project's Tenders tab.
  2. Click “New bid package.”
  3. Enter a Package name (for example, “Earthworks”), and optionally a Bids close date.
  4. Check the individual BOQ items you want included — there's a “Select all” / “Clear all” toggle if you're including most or all of a section.
  5. Click “Create package.”

What a subcontractor sees — and doesn't

Subcontractors see each item's description, section path, quantity, and unit. They never see your own unit rates or totals — only the scope, so their price is genuinely theirs, not anchored to yours.

A new package starts in draft status. Next: invite subcontractors to bid on it.
